Reading with Tyler

Tyler spent a morning reading each and every book brought to him.  Everyone loves

 to read and this book is a fall favorite...

 (I had to tape it back together this year)

1st Fall Leaf Pile

The lambs decided that there was enough leaves to make into a pile...
my favorite over heard line was "How many leaves do you think we need?  100? Maybe a 1000?"

I don't know how many leaves there were or will be in future piles but it was fun to watch them jump and laugh, in this their 1st...Fall is my favorite time of the year!!

Messy snack

T and S were eating snack:  I think the pictures "speak" for themselves :)

Wickedly Cute

Little M has been loving on her new baby at home but she has been up to play with us a few days...
She did this whole puzzle all by herself!!  I am so proud of her and can't wait until she comes daily again.

Bam-Bam

Yesterday, I was sitting (minding my own business) and here comes L running up "Ms Sherry, Ms Sherry...look what I have" as 2 little hands get thrust to about 5 inches from my nose..."I caught a lizard"

 

My heart skipped a beat as I saw sandwiched between L's little hands, a tiny lizard.

"I want to take him home!"

 

I got a little Tupperware for "Bam-Bam" as he was lovingly named so we could look at him and L could show big brother T and Papa.

 "Don't be scared Bam-Bam. Your my little buddy."

T asked "How did you catch him L?"

"He was running like this (as L is wiggling his fingers in a running motion) on the bricks and then he stopped and I trapped him, when he tried to wiggle away I squished my hands tighter. Then Ms Sherry got this cup so I can show you."

 

So I'm thinking, how am I going to talk L into letting Bam-Bam go after he shows him off.

I ask L "What does Bam-Bam eat?"

L: "Ah, maybe grass or something."

"Nope, he eats bugs."

"He does?"

"Yep, are you going to go catch him a fly to eat for dinner?"

"No way!!"

"So maybe after you show Papa you should let him go so he can catch his dinner. Then he will grow big and strong, then you can see him every day here at my house."

"OK"

So after Papa has seen and L relives his story complete with hand motions, L runs (Tyler says poor lizard because L is running and his arms are moving back and forth with the cup in hand) :)

L then with all his might is trying to get the lid off.  As the lid gives the cup goes one way the lid the other and Bam-Bam went flying...

 

So today every time L went outside, he would look and call (yell) for Bam-Bam...then we found him!!

(look at the pink dress then go left to the 1st full brick, on the tip top is Bam-Bam:)

But he was too quick this time for L's hands and too smart he went back towards the fence away from little hands. :)
