M wanted me to know that baby L had something...she kept saying

 "Oh no, Ms Sherry, baby L"

It's OK M it's only Tyler's helmet...

of course she had to have a turn if it was alright for the boys:)

New Playground part 2

Our Grand re-opening day was bright and sunny, full of balloons, bubbles, sand box, swings and car fun...

"I love your new park Ms Sherry!!" shouted one of the lambs

at day's end.

New Playground part 1

The lambs were so funny this week as they watched the "worker men"(as they called them) dig out the dirt, shovel the rock, and spread the rubber mulch... here it is step by step...

We all know how it looked when the job got started...Fun but needing some new matting.

First drove in a big truck...all the lambs stood there and "Beep, beep, beeped" as the truck backed down the driveway...every time!!!  Also every time the lift when up or down they sang out "Weeeeeeee"

Even the "worker men" laughed at that.

 If the lambs got to close to the work being done we had to come in and watch from inside...

 But if they were good at just watching they got to sit outside and see what was going on to their playground

This picture is of the lambs spying the truck coming down the driveway after "it" had left for lunch...we were having cupcakes for M's birthday but they jumped up to watch and beep. :)

It became to much to stay inside so we had to make a "pretend" playground.

Dye plus eggs

Colorful Easter Fun!!!

L always makes me laugh...and this day was no different!  He had 2 colors but 3 eggs.  I have NO words or way to write them in a way to describe his perplexing situation.... it was just priceless...he would want to move one egg but have an egg already in that dye so he would try to make it work but he was always "running" into an egg to dye ratio problem:)  His hands turned a lovely shade of yellow, green.

After egg dying we cleaned up (the soap bubbles were very colorful too) and ate lunch outside...I think we will do this alot more this summer...it was nice to have the crumbs and tipped milk

 mess outside...a few hours later I saw a few birds happpy

we ate outside too:)

While Trevor and my mom hid eggs outside for the egg hunt I gave the lambs stickers to decorate their eggs.  The noise level went from 10 to 0 in a heartbeat!!  I will have to remember this fun for a drippy day:)

One thing that has happened a few times over the years is when an egg gets cracked and the shell starts to come off...the little looks of "Fix it" or "Help me" just bring a smile to my heart.

This year it was M's egg that broke...she tried very hard to get that shell to stick.

She didn't want help, "Me do it" was all she kept saying. 

 I think the only way she

 stoped trying was the fact we were going outside for the egg hunt.

I have always let the youngest lambs go out to "hunt" thier eggs a few seconds before

the older lambs...this year we counted to 10 but S was not going to wait...he went out the other door to get a head start on his hunting:)

Everyone had a great time!!

Play-doh

The lambs spend so much daily time outside in the sunshine having fun, that when it rains I have to come up with a equally fun time...only inside.  Praise the Lord for Play-doh!!  (I only bring it out on rainy days or hot summer days when we stay inside until the front tree shades the playground area.)

Baby L saw a new box of toys to explore :)

I guess it was not all fun and games...there is some work involved

Baby L moved from the box to the table but after tasting all the different colors he was banned to the highchair where he had just as much fun as everyone else...without play-doh.
